    • An Apostille is a certificate that authenticates the origin of a public document.
    • It is issued by a country that is party to the Apostille Convention to be used in another country which is also a party to the Convention.
  • What is “Consular Authentication”?
    • Consular authentication, a.k.a. consular legalization, refers to a consular practice ensuring authenticity of the very last signature and the seal affixed to a document related to the application from a natural person, legal person or other organization for use overseas, especially for use in non-member countries of the Hague Apostille Convention.
